Congratulatory Letter from Prime Minister TAKAICHI to President OUATTARA of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire

 

On December 8, Ms. TAKAICHI Sanae, Prime Minister of Japan, sent a congratulatory letter to His Excellency Mr. Alassane OUATTARA, President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, who held his inauguration ceremony on the same day.

 

1. In her letter, Prime Minister TAKAICHI expressed her hope for Côte d’Ivoire to further serve as a driving force for regional peace, stability, and economic development under President Ouattara’s leadership.
 

2.   Additionally, Prime Minister TAKAICHI reaffirmed the longstanding friendship and trust between Japan and Côte d’Ivoire, and also expressed her commitment to further deepening cooperation across various fields and advancing bilateral relations, building on the achievements of the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9) held this year.
