On December 16, 2025, Prime Minister Takaichi attended the third meeting in fiscal year 2025 of the Forum for Consultations between the National and Local Governments at the Prime Minister’s Office.
At the meeting, the participants held consultations on FY2026 budget formulation, fiscal measures for local governments, and other matters.
