Visit to Canada by Mrs. ISHIBA Yoshiko, the Spouse of the Prime Minister - First Day (Summary)

On June 16, 2025 (local time), Mrs. Yoshiko Ishiba, accompanying Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba on his visit to Kananaskis, Canada, participated in a trekking activity at Troll Falls Trail, located near Mount Nakiska in Kananaskis, as part of the G7 Kananaskis Summit’s spouses’ program.

Later, she visited Canmore, where she experienced traditional basket weaving and took a walk around Lake Quarry.

Mrs. Ishiba also attended both a luncheon and a dinner hosted by the Mrs. Diana Fox Carney, Spouse of the Prime Minister of Canada.

Finally, together with Prime Minister Ishiba, she attended a cultural event hosted by the Prime Minister and Mrs. Carney at the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge.
