On June 17, 2025 (local time), Mrs. Yoshiko Ishiba, accompanying Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba on his visit to Kananaskis, Canada, participated in the G7 Kananaskis Summit's spouses’ program. She visited Banff National Park and, together with the other spouses, took the gondola ride to enjoy the breathtaking natural scenery from the summit of Sulphur Mountain.

Later, Mrs. Ishiba attended a luncheon hosted by Mrs. Diana Fox Carney, Spouse of the Prime Minister of Canada.

In the afternoon, in Banff, she joined local Japanese nationals working in industries such as tourism and other sectors for a community clean-up activity around Central Park, and she also engaged in discussions with the participants.
