Visit to Malaysia by Mrs. ISHIBA Yoshiko, the Spouse of the Prime Minister

On January 10, 2025 (local time), Mrs. ISHIBA Yoshiko, the Spouse of the Prime Minister, who is visiting Malaysia with Prime Minister Ishiba, attended a welcome ceremony at the Prime Minister’s Office of Malaysia, where she was welcomed by His Excellency Dato' Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia and Dr. Wan Azizah, the Spouse of the Prime Minister of Malaysia. 

Afterwards, Mrs. Ishiba attended a spouse program hosted by Dr. Wan Azizah. Mrs. Ishiba then joined Prime Minister Ishiba at a luncheon hosted by Prime Minister Anwar, followed by a visit to the Japanese Cemetery in Kuala Lumpur, where she offered flowers.

Lastly, Mrs. Ishiba held a discussion with Japanese women active in Malaysia.
