Japan-Sri Lanka Summit Meeting

On September 29, 2025, Prime Minister Ishiba held a summit meeting with H.E. Mr. Anura Kumara Disanayaka, President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, at the Prime Minister’s Office.

Following a salute and guard of honor ceremony, the two leaders held a meeting, which was followed by a ceremony for the signing and exchange of documents and a joint press occasion. Lastly, they held a working lunch.
