On August 29, 2025, Prime Minister Ishiba held a summit meeting with H.E. Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India.

Following a salute and guard of honor ceremony, the two leaders held a meeting, which was followed by a ceremony for the exchange of documents and a joint press occasion. The day concluded with a working dinner.
