G7 Kananaskis Summit – Day 2

On June 17, 2025 (local time), Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, visiting Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada, for the G7 Kananaskis Summit, attended a session on the theme of "A strong and sovereign Ukraine," followed by the summit’s closing session.
Afterward, he held bilateral meetings with the Hon. Anthony Albanese, MP, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Australia, and H.E. Mr. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine. He then attended a working lunch session on energy security, and later held talks with H.E. Mr. Lee Jae Myung, President of the Republic of Korea.
Finally, Prime Minister Ishiba held a press conference on his participation in the G7 Kananaskis Summit and related events.
