On April 28, 2025 (local time), Prime Minister Ishiba, during his visit to Hanoi, the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Tran Thanh Man, Chairman of National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam. The Prime Minister then attended the Japan-Vietnam Cooperation Forum on Creating High-Value-Added Industries in High-Tech, Green Transformation (GX), and Semiconductor Industries, followed by a visit to Vietnam-Japan University. Afterwards, the Prime Minister attended a dinner with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Madam Le Thi Bich Tran.

On April 29, 2025 (local time), Prime Minister Ishiba attended a breakfast meeting hosted by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Madam Le Thi Bich Tran, and subsequently visited the Vietnam National Museum of History under their guidance.
