Congratulatory Message from Prime Minister Kishida to Prime Minister of Thailand Paetongtarn

Mr. KISHIDA Fumio, Prime Minister of Japan, sent a congratulatory letter to H.E. Ms. Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, following her appointment on August 18, 2024. 

In the letter, Prime Minister Kishida conveyed the message that, under the “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership” between the two countries, he would like to work together with Prime Minister Paetongtarn to further develop bilateral relations as well as to address various challenges facing the region and the international community in order to maintain and strengthen a free and open international order based on the rule of law.
