Congratulatory Message from Prime Minister Kishida to Prime Minister Orpo, Prime Minister of the Republic of Finland

On June 23, following the appointment of H.E. Mr. Petteri Orpo, Prime Minister of the Republic of Finland, Mr. KISHIDA Fumio, Prime Minister of Japan, sent a congratulatory letter to Prime Minister Orpo.
In the letter, Prime Minister Kishida extended his congratulations to Prime Minister Orpo and conveyed his willingness to further deepen collaboration with Finland, as a strategic partner, towards maintaining and strengthening the free and open international order based on the rule of law. He also mentioned his hope to further develop bilateral relations in a wide range of fields, including politics, economy, and culture, and to promote further cooperation in the international arena.
