On November 25, Mr. KISHIDA Fumio, Prime Minister of Japan, sent a congratulatory letter to Y.A.B. Dato' Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, following his appointment on November 24.
In the letter, Prime Minister Kishida conveyed his determination to further strengthen the bilateral ties, and to promote cooperation in a wide range of areas toward the realization of a "Free and Open Indo-Pacific."
