Press Conference by the Prime Minister regarding His Visit to Southeast Asia and Europe

 
 
From now I will depart on a visit to Indonesia, Viet Nam, and Thailand, which are strategic partners for Japan in Asia, and also to Italy and the UK, fellow G7 member countries. I am very much looking forward to having candid exchanges of views with each of my counterparts regarding the situation in Ukraine and confirming our coordination in this area. I also aim for us to reassert our cooperation in concrete terms towards realizing a Free and Open Indo-Pacific. I want to make this entire trip something that helps to fully defend the peaceful world order, so to speak.
