Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India; Honourable Mark Brown, Prime Minister of the Cook Islands; H.E. Mr. Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam; The Hon. Anthony Albanese, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Australia; H.E. Mr. António Manuel de Oliveira Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations; H.E. Mr. Mathias Cormann, Secretary-General of the OECD; and Dr. Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency, invited to the G7 Hiroshima Summit, visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum located in the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture with Prime Minister Kishida, and laid flowers at the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims.

At the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, leaders of the invited countries and heads of international organizations saw the reality of the atomic bombing, and signed the guest book titled “Commemorating the visit to the Peace Memorial Park by the leaders of the invited countries and international organizations on the occasion of the G7 Hiroshima Summit” with Prime Minister Kishida at the end of their visit.

Prime Minister Kishida and the leaders of the invited countries and heads of international organizations were then escorted to the Cenotaph for the Atomic Bomb Victims by Mr. YUZAKI Hidehiko, Governor of Hiroshima Prefecture, and Mr. MATSUI Kazumi, Mayor of the City of Hiroshima. They laid a wreath at the Cenotaph with the support of elementary school students in Hiroshima.
