Courtesy Call from Governor DeSantis of the State of Florida (Summary)

On April 24, commencing at 11:30 a.m., for approximately 40 minutes, Mr. KISHIDA Fumio, Prime Minister of Japan, received a courtesy call from The Honorable Ron DeSantis, Governor of the State of Florida. The overview of the meeting is as follows.

At the outset, Prime Minister Kishida welcomed Governor DeSantis’s first visit to Japan, and stated that he hopes that this visit to Japan will lead to the further strengthening of Japan-U.S. and Japan-Florida relationships.
