Courtesy call on Prime Minister Kishida by the Club Franco-Japonais

On November 24, from 5:05 p.m. for about 20 minutes, Mr. Fumio Kishida, Prime Minister of Japan, received a courtesy call by Mr. Jacques Aschenbroich, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Valeo (French Co-Chairman of the Club Franco-Japonais), Mr. HORIBA Atsushi, Chairman and Group CEO of Horiba Ltd. (Japanese Co-Chairman of the Club Franco-Japonais), and other members of the Club. The overview of the meeting is as follows.
 
1.At the outset, Mr. Horiba and Mr. Aschenbroich, handed a press release of the 31st Meeting of the Club Franco-Japonais to Prime Minister Kishida, on behalf of the Club.
 
2.Prime Minister Kishida welcomed the holding of the first meeting of the Club in three years after the interruption caused by the Covid 19 and expressed his appreciation for the efforts of all concerned. He also stated that he hoped to encourage the cooperation between Japanese and French companies.
 
3.In response, the Chairpersons of the Club Franco-Japonais presented the meaningful exchange of opinions on themes such as tradition and innovation, as well as sustainability, at the General Meeting held in Kyoto. They also stated that French and Japanese companies reaffirmed to continue their close cooperation at the meeting in Kyoto.
