Instructions by the Prime Minister regarding the Heavy Rainfall Caused by the Seasonal Rain Front (July 14, 2023)

1. Timely and accurately provide citizens with information regarding evacuation, heavy rain, river conditions, etc.


2. Work closely with local governments and take all possible precautions such as support for evacuation to ensure that residents can evacuate in areas likely to be hit by flooding, landslides and other disasters.


3. In the event of any damage being incurred by the rainfall, promptly assess the status of damage, and ensure that the Government as a whole makes every possible effort to implement disaster emergency measures under the principle of putting human life first.


4. In areas that have already suffered damage due to the heavy rainfall several days earlier, ensure that voices of affected people continue to be carefully heard to identify actual conditions and that support is provided to meet real needs of the affected people.
