Instructions by the Prime Minister regarding the Situation in Ukraine (14:30)

1. Do everything in the Government’s capacity to collect information and properly assess the situation.

2. Any unilateral change to the status quo by force is absolutely unacceptable. Under this principle, respond to future circumstances while continuing to act in close cooperation with the G7 as well as the international community.
 
3. Take all possible measures to ensure the safety of Japanese nationals in Ukraine.
 
4. Keep the negative impacts upon Japan’s economy and society to a minimum, including by engaging in all possible means to ensure a stable supply of energy.
