On December 21, 2023, Prime Minister Kishida held the 17th meeting of the Council on Economic and Fiscal Policy at the Prime Minister's Office.
 
At the meeting, the participants engaged in discussions on the revision of the reform time schedule for the New Plan to Advance Economic and Fiscal Revitalization and a special session (macroeconomic management) toward a new stage.
