On October 28, 2023, Prime Minister Kishida participated in the FY2023 Comprehensive Nuclear Emergency Response Exercise at the Prime Minister’s Office.
As part of the exercise, the Prime Minister held an emergency press conference and a Joint Meeting of the Nuclear Emergency Response Headquarters and the Major Disaster Management Headquarters.
