On October 16, 2023, Prime Minister Kishida held the joint session of the 9th inter-ministerial meeting to strengthen action against sexual crimes and violence, the 14th inter-ministerial liaison meeting on measures against child sexual exploitation, and the 3rd meeting of the headquarters on measures against absenteeism to secure education that leaves no one behind at the Prime Minister’s Office.
At the meeting, the participants engaged in discussions on measures concerning the safety and security of children.
