On March 19, 2022 (local time), the Prime Minister visited New Delhi in India.
 
The Prime Minister held a summit meeting with H.E. Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, and then attended the India-Japan Economic Forum. Following a document signing ceremony and an exchange of documents ceremony, the leaders held a joint press announcement and issued a joint statement (English / Japanese).
 
At the end of the visit, the Prime Minister spoke to the press regarding the Japan-India summit meeting and other matters.
