On November 28, 2021, the Prime Minister attended the Memorial Service for Police Officers Who Lost Their Lives on Duty and for Citizens Who Lost Their Lives Assisting with Police Duties, held in Tokyo.

The Prime Minister offered a silent prayer and delivered a memorial address, followed by the offering of a flower.
