(Outline of the Press Conference by the Chief Cabinet Secretary on March 30, 2012 (AM))
- The Japanese Government strongly urges North Korea to refrain from the launch.
- It also believes that normally the missile will not be falling on the Japanese territory, and the people of Japan should continue on with their normal lives and activities.
- Although it is very unlikely, the Government is preparing for the possibility that the missile may fall on its territory, and relevant organizations are put on alert.
- The Government will disseminate the necessary information promptly in case of the launch, and the people are asked to pay attention to the information provided through TV, radio and other sources.
