Following the inauguration of his second cabinet on July 4, Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori held a press conference at the Prime Minister's Official Residence. He expressed his determination to achieve his Plan for the Rebirth of Japan and discussed its five pillars: rebirth of the economy, creation of an aging society in which people can live reassured lives, educational reform, rebirth of government, an realization of a "Japan which engenders the trust of the world."
