Message from Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi to President Kim Dae Jung of the Republic of Korea concerning the Fire on the Underground Railway in Daegu, Republic of Korea

Concerning the fire on the underground railway that occurred in Daegu in the Republic of Korea on February 18, Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi has sent a message of sympathy to President Kim Dae Jung of the Republic of Korea. I feel deep sorrow for the loss of so many precious lives in the fire on the underground railway in Daegu. On behalf of the people and the Government of Japan, I sincerely pray for the repose of the victims.
