Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited small- and medium-sized enterprises in Osaka Prefecture.
The Prime Minister first tasted kushikatsu (skewers of breaded and deep-fried meat and vegetables, a specialty of Osaka) and then went shopping. Afterwards, he visited a specialty steel plant in Osaka City where he conversed with management and female employees. The Prime Minister then visited a steel casting plant in Osaka City where. he received an explanation about the plant’s operations. Following this, the Prime Minister visited a spring plant in Kadoma City where he conversed with management and employees.
Finally, the Prime Minister visited the observation deck of Abeno Harukas where he received an explanation from Mr. Toru Hashimoto, Mayor of Osaka City.
