Opening Statement by Chief Cabinet Secretary Suga

H.E. Mr. Htin Kyaw, President of Myanmar, will visit Japan from December 13 to 17. During his stay in Japan, Prime Minister Abe will hold a meeting with the President, exchange views regarding the bilateral relationship and regional situation, and hold a dinner in his honor. In addition, the President will attend an international conference on global health to be held in Tokyo. It is expected that the President’s visit to Japan will contribute to further deepening the friendly relations between the two countries.
