While all existing ministerial councils, committees, etc. were abolished in accordance with "Abolishment of Ministerial Councils and Ministerial Committees" (Cabinet Decision, August 13, 1993), the following measure shall be taken in concurrence.
1.The Ministerial Council on Monthly Economic Report and Other Relative Issues shall be convened heretoafter as stipulated in the Annex.

The Ministerial Council on Monthly Economic Report and Other Relative Issues (Procedural Guidelines)

1.The Ministerial Council on Monthly Economic Report and Other Relative Issues (hereinafter referred to as "the Council") shall be convened whenever necessary in order to conduct hearings, etc. on the Monthly Economic Report, etc.
2.The members of the Council are the Prime Minister, Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Minister of Finance, Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Minister of State for Financial Services, Minister of State for Economic and Fiscal Policy, Minister of State for Science and Technology Policy, Minister of State for Industrial Revitalization Corporation of Japan, Minister of State for Special Zones for Structural Reform, Minister of State for Administrative Reform as well as the Chief Cabinet Secretary.
The Council may request the attendance of the ministers concerned and other concerned parties where necessary.
3.The Chief Cabinet Secretary shall preside over the Council.
4.The administrative affairs of the Council shall be handled by the Cabinet Office.
