Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda attended the plenary session of the House of Representatives.

During the session, a silent prayer for the victims of the atomic bombs at Hiroshima and Nagasaki was offered at the beginning. Then, deliberation took place on a no-confidence resolution against the Noda Cabinet. The resolution was then put to a vote, and was rejected.
