Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda attended a meeting of the Tokyo Conference on Afghanistan held in Tokyo.
Before the meeting, Prime Minister Noda received a courtesy call from Ms. Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State of the United States. Then, the Prime Minister attended a meeting of the Tokyo Conference on Afghanistan, and delivered an address at the opening session. Later, Prime Minister Noda received courtesy calls from Mr. Laurent Fabius, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, and Mr. Ban Ki-moon, Secretary General of the United Nations, respectively.
