Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda held a meeting for an exchange of views on children and child-rearing with female reporters at the Prime Minister's Office.

In promoting the comprehensive reform of social security and taxation systems, the meeting was held to enhance future social security policies, including supports for children and child-rearing, by allowing the Prime Minister to listen first hand to the opinions of female reporters who have knowledge through their daily interviews and reporting, and to exchange views with them.
