Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda attended the plenary session of the House of Representatives.

During the session, the purpose of the bill on special measures for government bonds (the Act on Special Provisions concerning Issuance of Government Bonds for Financial Management in FY2012) and related bills were explained by Mr. Jun Azumi, Minister of Finance; the purpose of the Local Allocation Tax Act, the bill to amend a portion of the Act on Grants Distributed to Municipalities Where National Assets, etc. are Located, and related bills was explained by Mr. Tatsuo Kawabata, Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications; and the Prime Minister answered questions from each party and faction.
