On November 4 (local time), Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda, who was visiting the French Republic to attend the G20 Cannes Summit, attended the G20 Plenary Sessions and other meetings, as on the previous day.

In the morning, Prime Minister Noda held talks with Dr. Angela Merkel, the Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, and then attended the G20 Plenary Session 3 on financial regulation, the G20 Plenary Session 4 on agriculture, energy, and climate, and the G20 Plenary Session 5 on fighting corruption and other issues.

In the afternoon, Prime Minister Noda attended a working lunch to discuss the adoption of the Cannes Action Plan for Growth and Jobs and the Cannes Summit Final Declaration, among other issues.

After the closing of the G20 Summit, Prime Minister Noda received courtesy calls separately from the trade union leaders (L20) and Mr. Bill Gates.
