1. I welcome that agreement has been reached in COP7, and highly value the efforts devoted by the Chairman and the delegations.
2. I wish to convene a meeting of the Global Warming Prevention Headquarters as early as on Monday the 12th November, after seeing the Minister of the Environment Ms. Kawaguchi, and consider how we should proceed on the issue of concluding the Kyoto Protocol.
3. In order to ensure effectiveness of the measures against global warming, it is important that all countries act under one single rule, and Japan will continue its maximum efforts in this regard.
