Prime Minister Meets with the President of Japan Post
Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi welcomed the first president of Japan Post, Masaharu Ikuta and the senior executive vice president, Toshihiro Takahashi and Hiroaki Dan and held the meeting at the Prime Minister's Official Residence on the very day the Japan Post was launched. President Ikuta described his ambitions for the future of Japan Post during the meeting; the goal is to introduce positive aspects of management methods at the private sector and to provide even better services. Prime Minister Koizumi encouraged him by saying "Please do your best" in return. |
