Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi met with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia Samdech Hun Sen at the Prime Minister's Official Residence. Prime Minister Hun Sen extended his gratitude for Japan's contributions to Cambodia since the country achieved peace. He also stated, "I would like to ask for Japan's further cooperation in our administrative reforms in the future." Prime Minister Koizumi responded stalwartly to this, saying, "We both share common attributes as reformers and men of action, so let us further develop our relationship, while dealing with the issues at hand in our own countries." |
