Prime Minister Naoto Kan visited Panasonic Center Tokyo in Tokyo, and observed, among others, the energy-saving model home "Eco Idea House" which has achieved CO2±0 (zero).

After the observation, the Prime Minister said, "Energy-saving and renewable energies are vital issues, and I came here today to see how they can be specifically put into practice. I feel that what I observed very much demonstrated the great potential of future energy-saving and renewable energy technologies."
