Prime Minister Naoto Kan attended an "Open Dialogue with the Public" on natural energy held at the Prime Minister's Office.

During the open dialogue, the Prime Minister directly answered or commented on some of the questions sent through twitter during the Prime Minister-Experts Open Forum on Natural Energy held on June 12, and exchanged messages with groups of people who participated in the dialogue from venues located all over Japan using a live video relay.

The Prime Minister said in his address, "I am looking forward to express my own thoughts and ideas again today, although at the same time I must take responsibility for what I say given the extreme importance of the position of Prime Minister."
