Prime Minister Naoto Kan attended the plenary session of the House of Councillors in the morning, and the plenary session of the House of Representatives in the afternoon.

Continuing on from the previous day, the representatives of political parties posed their questions on the speeches of the Ministers of State. The Prime Minister answered questions on the FY2011 budget, the comprehensive reform of social security and taxation systems, diplomacy, and other topics.
