Prime Minister Naoto Kan held talks with Mr. Juan Evo Morales Ayma, President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, at the Prime Minister's Office.

After the meeting, the two leaders attended a signing ceremony for the memorandum on policy consultations between the diplomatic authorities, and then signed the Japan-Bolivia Joint Statement.
