Prime Minister Naoto Kan, who was on his visit to Okinawa since December 17, observed Futenma Air Station, Henoko (Camp Schwab), and other facilities from a helicopter.

Following this, the Prime Minister visited Futenma Air Station and received a briefing from Lieutenant General Terry G. Robling, Okinawa Area Coordinator of the US Forces in Okinawa. The Prime Minister then observed the Kadena redevelopment zone.

After completing a series of visits, the Prime Minister held a press conference.
