Prime Minister Naoto Kan held talks with Mr. Tsakhia Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia, at the Prime Minister's Office.

After the meeting the two leaders signed a joint statement for building a strategic partnership between Japan and Mongolia, and then attended a ceremony for the exchange of notes on ODA loans to Mongolia.
