Prime Minister Naoto Kan received a courtesy call from members of the New Japan-China Friendship Committee for the 21st Century at the Prime Minister's Office.

On the occasion of the courtesy call, the Prime Minister exchanged views with Mr. Taizo Nishimuro, Advisor of Toshiba Corporation who serves as the Japanese Chairperson, and seven other Committee members from Japan, and Mr. Tang Jiaxuan, former State Councilor of the People's Republic of China who serves as the Chinese Chairperson, and nine other persons including Committee members from China.
