On June 27 (local time), Prime Minister Naoto Kan, who is visiting Canada to attend the G8 and G20 Summits, attended the plenary session of the G20 Summit, a meeting with participants of the Youth Summit, the G20 working lunch, and other events.
Prime Minister Kan held talks separately with Mr. Hu Jintao, President of the People's Republic of China, and Mr. Nguyen Tan Dung, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, prior to the meeting. After the meeting, he held talks with Dr. Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India, and Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, President of the Republic of Indonesia.
After the G20 Summit, Prime Minister Kan held a press conference, following which he held talks with Mr. Barack Obama, President of the United States of America.
