Prime Minister Taro Aso received a courtesy call at the Prime Minister's Office from Dr. Makoto Kobayashi, Professor Emeritus of the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK), who won the 2008 Nobel Prize in Physics.

Dr. Kobayashi made a report to the Prime Minister on the award ceremony that was held on December 10 in Stockholm, the Kingdom of Sweden. The Prime Minister took this occasion to express once again his congratulations.
