Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited Hyogo and Hiroshima Prefectures.

After arriving in Hyogo Prefecture on the previous night, Prime Minister Abe visited a steel company that he had worked for 26 years earlier. He toured the blast furnace and plate mill to observe Japanese manufacturing technologies that combined craftsmanship skills and the latest efforts to tackle environmental issues such as global warming.

Afterwards, Prime Minister Abe visited a juvenile training school in Hiroshima Prefecture to join in a workshop designed to help the young people build sound basic interpersonal relationships. He also received an explanation from the young people about their dormitory.
