On July 4, 2018, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited the Railway Museum and a childcare facility in Saitama Prefecture.
Prime Minister Abe attended the commemorative ceremony for the opening of the new building and renewal of the main building at the Railway Museum, where he viewed and experienced the Series E5 Shinkansen simulator and other exhibits. Following that, Prime Minister Abe visited a childcare facility in Konosu City and exchanged views with facility users and others.
