On November 8, 2017, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe received the FY2016 Audit Report from Mr. Teruhiko Kawato, President of the Board of Audit, at the Prime Minister's Office.
The audit report compiled the results of the audit conducted by the Board of Audit during 2017 (from October 2016 to September 2017) on the final accounts of revenues and expenditures of the State, the final accounts of revenues and expenditures of government-affiliated institutions, and other public accounts for FY2016.
