On September 5 (local time) Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is visiting Hangzhou in the People’s Republic of China to attend the G20 Summit on Financial Markets and the World Economy, attended Session-II of the G20 Summit, on the theme of “More Effective and Efficient Global Economic and Financial Governance.” Following this, the Prime Minister held talks with H.E. Mr. Michel Miguel Elias Temer Lulia, President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, and then attended Session-III of the G20 Summit, on the theme of “Robust International Trade and Investment.”

In the afternoon, Prime Minister Abe attended Session-IV (working lunch) of the G20 Summit, on the theme of “Inclusive and Interconnected Development”; Session-V of the G20 Summit, on the theme of “Further Significant Global Challenges Affecting the World Economy”; and the closing ceremony. In the evening, the Prime Minister held talks with H.E. Dr. Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China.
Later in the evening, Prime Minister Abe held a press conference.
